Welcome to Neighborhood Church of Anderson / Cottonwood
Everyone at our church was new at one time or another, so we remember what it’s like. To make your visit easier, members of our Welcome Team will be available to greet you and answer any questions you have. They will happily point you in the right direction and help you get your kids to the right location.
What will my experience on Sunday morning be like?
The Sunday Morning Worship Services at Neighborhood Church include worship music and a message. Our music is led by a live band featuring contemporary music with songs you can find on many Christian radio stations. The messages focus on discovering more about God in ways that address the real issues that real people face in their daily lives. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by our pastors as they teach through God’s Word, the Bible.
The Sunday service lasts for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will find a friendly environment where everyone is welcomed. Although we will likely have a brief greeting time during our service, no one will ask you to stand or call attention to you.
When should I arrive?
5-10 minutes before the service starts should allow plenty of time to get to where you need to go. If you are visiting with children, we recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early so that we can help you find your children's meeting rooms.
Where should I park?
We have reserved parking spots for guests located on your right as you pull in our main entrance.
Which doors should I enter?
Our main entrance faces away from the street and into our parking lot. As you enter our parking lot from Rhonda Road, you will see a large covered patio area. Our main entryway is located under this covered patio area.
After you enter into the building, you'll see our “Welcome Center” in front of you, with the main doors to the auditorium beind the Welcome Center. Remember that if you have any questions the volunteers at the Welcome Center are there to gladly assist you!
What should I wear?
Come as you are! You will fit in just fine whether you come in jeans and a t-shirt, polo and khakis, or a suit and tie.
Is there anything going on for my kids and teenagers on Sunday mornings?
Absolutely! You kids are a precious gift from God. They are important to you, and they are important to us. That's why we provide quality, energetic, Bible-based ministries just for them. While you are discovering more about God, your kids will be as well.
During the worship services:
- We provide high quality childcare in our nursery for infants through toddlers age 3. (For infant care we have a silent paging system to contact you if you are needed.)
- Children ages 4-7 can either:
- Attend the first part of the service and then be dismissed to "Children's Church" during the sermon.
- Attend the full worship service with you.
During the Sunday School hour:
- We have an infant nursery available for your little ones up to 2 years of age.
- We have age appropriate Sunday School classes for kids 3 year olds through high school.
- We also offer Sunday School classes for adults.
