Children's Church

Each Sunday Morning during our regular worship service our children ages 4 through 7 years of age, are dismissed from the sanctuary prior to the sermon so they can interact and learn in a more age appropriate setting while still being able to respond in worship through song together as a family.

Our curriculum covers a three year cycle on both the Old and New Testament. Material is from Group Publishing. Doris Remund or Colleen Burdett may be contacted if you have any questions.

Sunday School

God-centered, Bible based teaching is offered each week to our children, ages 2 years old through high school. Our desire is for each child to know God as his or her “greatest” treasure!

The Children Desiring God curriculum that we use puts the focus on God and glorifying Him. He is the main character in each lesson. The curriculum encourages each student to discover, develop, display, and declare “joy” in God!

We incorporate music, Bible study, verse memorization, missions, and giving in our class time to help each child “desire” God above all else.
Join us Sunday morning @ 9:45 as we show children the “greatness” of God and the One who can satisfy all our longings.

AWANA

The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase “Approved workmen are not ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). Awana is a nondenominational Bible-centered children’s and youth ministry. We are committed to the evangelism and discipleship of children and youth. Our prayer is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

From preschool to high school, children and youth have fun playing age-appropriate games, memorizing Bible verses in an organized, topical system and participating in large-group Bible teaching. Our Awana club meets weekly on Wednesday night from 6:00pm to 7:45pm.

Awana also includes regional events-Awana Games, Bible Quizzing and Grand Prix. Parents are welcome to come anytime during the club and watch.
