Men's Discipleship
Disciple (n.): A follower of Jesus Christ. One who embraces and assists in spreading the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

Discipleship at Neighborhood Church is the sovereign work of God to transform our minds and hearts so we become faithful followers of Jesus Christ and all His teachings. God is developing in us a passion to joyfully display and declare the supremacy of God in all spheres of our lives.

At Neighborhood Church we love, embrace and instruct Christ’s followers in a Joy-driven, God-centered, Bible-obedient life. Critical components for this God-honoring life are:
  • God is supreme and supremely glorious
  • God does all things to display His glory
  • God manifests supreme love in commanding us to prize Him and praise Him
  • God is most glorified in us when we are most delighted in Him

Several areas where NCAC men are investing:

We also currently have three different types of teams where God is using men with their different talents.

  • Maintenance Team—These gifted men with maintenance skills help keep our church campus clean and functional. Do you like to skillfully use your tools and talents? Contact Dean Boring (244-0417) or Ron Pennington (949-2667).
  • Working for Others Team—These men help Neighborhood Church’s elderly, infirmed, and families needing a hand-up with short term maintenance. They love to take teenagers with them to model selfless service and a God-honoring work ethic. They are blessed of God to be a blessing.  Contact Gary Smith (347-5322) or Randy Kelly (347-4853).
  • Woodcutters Team—These men cut, split, and deliver firewood (for sale). The proceeds are used for children Christian camp scholarships. Want to help?  Contact Dave Sottana (347-4665) or Wayne Knifton (347-7235).
