Student Discipleship

180 / Junior High

The 180 Junior High Youth Group at Neighborhood Church is a ministry aimed at those high energy young people in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.Junior High can be a fun time of life. It also can be very awkward time physically, mentally, and spiritually.

This group is designed to support a young person as he/she grows in their relationship with God. More specifically, 180 attempts to do five things:
1) teach the gospel of Jesus Christ,
2) supply Junior High students with the tools to live faithfully in their world as lights for the glory of God,
3) embrace and care for all students as individuals who God seeks as His own,
4) provide opportunities for students to minister to others (volunteering, sharing, evangelizing), and
5) demonstrate a healthy, honest relationship to God—one that overflows with joy in God, delights in truth, confesses sin, and seeks that others do the same.

180 meets regularly at NCAC on Sunday mornings for Sunday School, and also on Tuesday nights for youth group (6:30-8:30pm). A.C.T.S. / Senior High

Our High School Ministry is known as A.C.T.S. which stands for Anderson and Cottonwood Transforming Students.  We believe that God is at work transforming us into the person He designed us to be. As a high school ministry we desire to come beside families as their kids transition from children to young adults.

We gather together every Sunday Morning at 9:45am in the Student Center where we develop our understanding of God through Biblical teaching and large group interaction.

On Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm we meet again in the Student Center with a different goal in mind.  Tuesday nights are more focused on the gospel discovering God's plan through Christ and developing relationships in small groups.

For more information about who we are and some of the special events we do check out our website www.actstyouth.com.  If you have any questions call our Pastor of Student Ministries Ryan Wildauer at 530.365.3331 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. College

Our College group meets in the home of Jeff and Shari Hatcher in Cottonwood. It is designed to be a small group atmosphere were college aged students get to know each other well enough to build trust and share life together.

We study God’s Word together as we grow and mature by the power of His Holy Spirit at work within us. We have a great time together and would love to see other college students join in what God is doing in our lives. Fellowship is one of the key parts our kids love about the group.

“It’s a Christian atmosphere, we feel welcome, we can come as we are and bring our friends. It’s really encouraging, and they take time to answer our questions, it’s fun and the food is great too.”

For more information on how to get involved in our college group or if you have any questions call Jeff or Shari Hatcher at 530.347.5817
