Position & Ministry Description: As a teaching elder, much of Brad's time is devoted to the study of Scripture in preparation for building up the church through the Word of God. His other responsibilities include discerning and developing vision, training leadership and working with our other leaders to shepherd the church family.

Brad's Vision: To delight in God ever more deeply so that joy in God overflows in love to others through displaying and declaring his glory in Jesus Christ.

Family Information: Brad and his wife Marleen have four children and two grandchildren.

Church History: Brad has been at Neighborhood Church since 1978. He became the first full-time staff member of the church in 1985.

Ministry Experience & Education: Having graduated from Bob Jones University, Dallas Theological Seminary and Bethel Theological Seminary, Brad has served churches in Louisiana and Wisconsin in addition to teaching several years at a local Bible College.

Position & Ministry Description: Elder, Liaison between the Deacons and Elders, member of the GO Team, champion of Men's Discipleship.

Doug's Vision: "To inspire among all peoples an overflowing joy in GOD through Jesus Christ." Doug wants everyone to understand that God has designed us to passionately pursue our joy, and it is clear in Scripture that to maximize our joy it must climax in and at God. Therefore Doug cherishes 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether I eat or drink or whatever I do, I do all to the glory of God." Doug calls God’s church to joyfully magnify His Name by treasuring Him above all else and by calling others to do the same!

Family Information: Doug and his wife Cindy were married in 1974. They have a married daughter, Courtney, and a son, Randy.

Church History: Doug has been a part of Neighborhood Church since 1986.

Ministry Experience & Education: Doug graduated from Chico State University with a Business Administration Degree. Doug spent one year at Simpson Bible College and has been on numerous missions-related trips throughout the world.

Position & Ministry Description: As Pastor of Outreach, Nick seeks to encourage and facilitate outreach, both locally and globally. He also periodically preaches and teaches before the church body.

Nick's Vision: Nick longs to see people of all nations know, worship and delight in God.

Family Information: Nick and his wife Talanta were married in 1994. They have four children: Cole, Tyler, Katie and Allie.

Church History: Nick and his wife became a part of Neighborhood Church in August 1994 (although in the years that followed, they were often out of the area and country). Nick officially joined the church staff in August 2007.

Ministry Experience & Education:

Position & Ministry Description: Dan is a staff elder. His duties include preaching and teaching, pastoral oversight of the body. As well as investing in the lives of high school students… Helping students see their God given hunger for Himself and teaching them of His ability to satisfy them in a way nothing else can.

Dan's Vision: To finish the race and complete the task the Lord has given him - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace and to take as many to heaven with him as God's will allows.

Family Information: Dan and his wife Shelly were married in 1975. They have four grown children: David, Laura, and Katie, and Renee. God has blessed Dan and Shelly with an abundance of grandchildren, and the number keeps growing!

Church History: Dan and Shelly began attending Neighborhood Church in 1975, shortly after their marriage. Dan Joined the church staff in 1987.

Ministry Experience & Education: Graduated from California University, Chico with a B.S. in Physical Education and a minor in English. He also received a Life Teaching Credential from CSU, Chico. Dan was a high school English and P.E. teach for 10 years. He also coached wrestling and football during those years. Dan then graduated from the Youth for Christ Institute of Evangelism and served with Youth for Christ in Nuremberg, Germany from 1984-1987. Upon returning to the States, Dan came on staff as Neighborhood Church's first youth pastor. He continued to coach wrestling at the local high schools during that time retiring in 2000. He then entered adult ministry in 2001.

Position & Ministry Description: His duties include preaching and teaching, pastoral oversight of small groups, and children's discipleship ministry.

Ryan's Vision: God has given Ryan a vision to invest his life in what will last. On the other side of eternity Ryan wants to know he spent the time on this side doing what was most worthwhile. In his life people who invested in him for God's name and God's glory have changed his view of God and set him on a path toward pursuing God’s glory and displaying that to those around him. If He could do the same for others in his life then he will certainly find his time well spent.

Family Information: Ryan and his wife Justine have been married since 1999. They have three children Nicole, Nathan, and Lauren.

Church History: Ryan came to Neighborhood Church and onto youth staff in the summer of 1999. He took a full time position on staff in June of 2001.

Ministry Experience & Education: Received his degree in Youth Ministries from Simpson University (Formerly Simpson College). Trained in a formal internship for four years under two respected local youth pastors. Has been serving in youth ministry since 1996.

Position & Ministry Description: Mark's ministry to utilize music to lead others in praise and worship of our Lord. Rather than a worship leader, Mark sees himself as being the lead worshipper.

Mark's Vision:Mark believes that the Lord we serve is greater than we could ever imagine. His vision is that all will come to know this truth that in Christ we are free.

Family Information:Mark married his high school sweetheart Cindy in 1982. They have four children: Alyssa, Christopher, Cassandra and Julianne.

Church History: Mark has been at Neighborhood Church since 1999 and on staff since 2004.

Ministry Experience & Education:Mark has served in various ministry roles including leading worship since the age of 16. He received his B.A. in History from Eastern Illinois University

Position & Ministry Description: Jr. High School Youth Pastor- Shepherding 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Continually discipling a few of the boys. Leads a staff team that builds relationships with the students. Interacting with students at their school campus with the intention of pointing their hearts towards God and His word.

Calvin's Vision:To be a great husband and to serve God with whatever He has him doing.

Family Information: Was married in 2007 to Jenae.

Church History: Calvin has been a part of Neighborhood Church since his birth. He officially joined our staff in May of 2007.

Ministry Experience & Education: 3 years as a summer camp counselor at Mt. Meadows. 3 years as an intern at NCAC (Junior High youth leader.) BA in Bible & Theology w/ emphasis in the Old Testament.
